Irish Flag Frosting

"Frosting for Irish Flag Cookies (see recipe in footnote), or any cut-out cookies you like!"

Ingredients :

1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
1/four teaspoon salt
half of teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon water
2 drops orange meals coloring
2 drops green food coloring

Instructions :

Blend confectioners' sugar, salt and vanilla. Add simply enough water to make frosting smooth to spread.
Divide frosting into 2 small bowls. Add 2 drops of orange food coloring to at least one bowl and a pair of drops of inexperienced meals coloring to the opposite bowl. Mix every till the colours are even.
Frost 1 inch of the left aspect of each Irish Flag Cookie with the inexperienced frosting and 1 inch of the right side of the cookies with the orange frosting, leaving the middle inch unfrosted.
